Stijn Ruiter studies social and spatial aspects of criminal and other deviant behavior. His research strengthens the collaboration between the Faculty of Social and Behavioral Sciences of Utrecht University and the Netherlands Institute for the Study of Crime and Law Enforcement (NSCR), a national research institute of the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO). Stijn Ruiter is senior researcher and member of the management team at NSCR.
