Sophie Klein is a Junior Assistant Professor in Sustainable Business with a diverse background encompassing research institutes, NGOs, and the corporate sector. Her primary research interest lies in improving the efficiency of financial resource allocation for sustainable development. Currently, she is actively involved in studying the financing of sustainable transitions and nature-based solutions. Moreover, Sophie is engaged in facilitating collaborations between Utrecht University and external stakeholders, fostering shared research projects with broad impact. She is active in the pathways to sustainability community, leading the initiative focusing on scaling up nature-positive investments. Her teaching activities involve the course "Strategy, Economics, and Societal Impact" and overseeing the Social Impact Consulting Challenge.
