I am a PhD candidate in the Energy & Resource department at Utrecht University. I obtained my MSc. in Energy Science and later worked as a Junior Researcher (2017-2019) in the Energy & Resource department on two Horizon 2020 Projects:

M-BENEFITS: Developing a conceptual framework to identify and quantify non energy benefits of energy efficiency measures

REFLEX: Analysis of the European energy system under the aspects of flexibility and technological progress with a focus on assessing learning rates for energy technologies.

Currently (2019-) I am conducting my PhD research on upsacling hydrogen production via electrolysis. This research is part of the ISPT Hydrohub GigaWatt Scale Electrolyser project with a goal to reduce the CAPEX and the Levelized Cost of Hydrogen (LCOH2) from electrolysis by 2030 rendering it competitive with Steam Methane Reforming (SMR)
