Member Committee Foreign Veterinary Graduates . This is an independent committte formed following a commission of the Minister of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (LNV). The committe advises regarding individual requests from veterinary graduates who were trained outside of the Netherlands and wish to work in the Netherlands.

Member Central Committee Animal Experimentation (CCD), the national body in the Netherlands and the only body in the Netherlands that can grant a license to conduct experiments involving animals. This can only be granted if there is no other possible way to conduct the research that would reach the scientific goals. The importance and utility of the research must also weigh up against the potential suffering caused to animals. The mandate of the CCD is determined in the Dutch Wet op de Dierproeven (WoD), which came into effect in 2014 following new European guidelines (2010/63/EU).
