My research focuses on land subsidence. My projects cover both modelling and laboratory experiments methods. During my bachelor and master, my research covered hydrogeological(-land subsidence) modelling in relation to groundwater extraction on province to delta-scale. The reseach concerned the Mekong Delta in Vietnam and the Yangtze River Delta in China. During my PhD (2021-2025), I focus on micro-scale processes inducing creep in peat and other organic matter rich deposits.
