Peiyao Zhang is a PhD student in the department of Interdisciplinary Social Sciences at Utrecht University and at the Interuniversity Center for Social Science Theory and Methodology (ICS). She obtained her BSc in Social Work at Tianjin Normal University in China in 2018. Afterwards she obtained the MSc Sociology: Politics and Society at Erasmus University Rotterdam (2019), and the MSc Medical Anthropology and Sociology at University of Amsterdam (2021). In her PhD project, she wants to study the Chinese migrants in the netherlands, with specific focuses on family solidarity, elderly care and well-being.
