My research focuses on developing tools, methods, and solutions to support game developers and engage institutions and policymakers to create more efficient actions for the independent games sector.

At Utrecht University, I am a researcher at the Collaborative Technologies Lab, leading a project under a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoc Fellowship Action. The GameDevUp project aims to decode the intricate science of team collaboration, offering a methodology and an algorithmic matchmaking system that could reshape how game developers connect, collaborate, and innovate. I am also volunteering as Vice Chairman of Game Incubation SIG at IGDA.

Before joining UU, I have experience as a project manager and commissioned researcher for the games industry, providing services to policymakers, associations, and private institutions. In highlight, I was the Coordinator of the Spcine Game from 2021 to 2024, the umbrella action that supports the development of the local games sector at São Paulo's municipality audiovisual company, including the SP Game Start - the first game-exclusive incubator in Brazil. Offered expert consultancy for institutions such as WIPO, Procolombia, Sebrae, Fortaleza's Municipality, and the Brazilian Ministry of Culture.

Ph.D. in Communication from São Paulo's State University - UNESP, was a member of Lecotec (Laboratory of Studies in Communication, Technology, Education and Creativity). Specialized in Evidence in Public Policy at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford.  Advisor of Game Jam Plus, an international event supporting game developers since 2021. Market Intelligence and Public Policies Consultant at the Brazilian Game Developers Association - Abragames between 2019 and 2020. Civil society representative at the National Council for Cultural Policies 2019-2022, Chair of the Industry Track of the Brazilian Games Symposium between 2016 and 2020, and researcher of the 2nd Census of the Brazilian Digital Games Industry of 2018.
