Natasha Koper obtained her PhD in June 2023 at Youth and Family of Utrecht University. In her PhD she studied the effectiveness and working mechanisms of InConnection, which is a multidisciplinary, systemic treatment including youth initiated mentoring for youth from multi-problem families. Since January 2023, she is working as a postdoctoral researcher at the department of Interdisciplinary Social Science of Utrecht University. She is currently engaged in participatory action research "Minding the Gap" aimed at improving the mental health of youth growing up in disadvantaged neighborhoods.
