Marrit Woudwijk is lecturer at Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) and Media and Culture Studies. She is also a member of the Intimacies of Remote Warfare Project, for which she publishes and speaks on the consequences of contemporary remote violence. 

Marrit studied LAS (BA, 2018) and Conflict Studies and Human Rights (MA cum laude, 2019). During her studies she conducted several empircal (field) researches focusing on remote warfare, representation of contemporary war, spatial dynamics of violence and discursive constructions of war.
