Mingkai Ma is a PhD candidate in geochemistry. His research interests lie in nutrients/metal dynamics at the mineral-water interface. As an experimentalist, he studies phosphate release upon reductive transformation of iron minerals in laboratory conditions, with a special emphasis on the kinetics and mechanisms.
He is currently an Early-stage-researcher of the Marie Sklodowska-Curie ITN project " P-TRAP " (https://h2020-p-trap.eu/).
