Lola van der Made is a PhD Researcher at the Department of Political History. She did her Bachelor's degree in History with a minor in Art History at the University of Groningen from 2017-2020. She graduated cum laude from the University of Groningen's Research Master's programme in Modern History and International Relations in 2022. Lola is  currently a PhD Researcher working on the project 'Provinzentjudung': Local Dynamics and the Holocaust in the Netherlands (1925 - 1950). Lola is responsible for examining socio-cultural ties and dynamics between local actors in provincial Netherlands immediately before, during, and after the Holocaust to understand the influence of local structures on the genocidal process.
