Lieke Wijnia works as lecturer for the courses Museum Studies (fall) and Heritage (spring) at University College Utrecht. She obtained her Ph.D in 2016 at Tilburg University with a dissertation on perceptions of the sacred in contemporary culture, primarily music, arts, and heritage. After that she researched art and heritagization of religion in postsecular culture, for which she a.o. received the golden honorary medal of the Teyler's Theological Society. Since 2019 she works as curator at Museum Catharijneconvent.
