Lisa is a PhD candidate working in the EU Project IMPETUS with the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development at Utrecht University. She is also a scientific researcher in the Innovation and Valorisation team at KWR Water Research Institute in Nieuwegein. Her work is divided between research and the practical application of engagement, knowledge transfer, science communication, and collaboration activities across her PhD, EU and international projects in the context of sustainability and water management. Previously, Lisa worked on international consulting projects with The Nature Conservancy, IWA, and the CRC for Water Sensitive Cities; at the Federation for Canadian Municipalities (FCM) as Capacity Building Officer in the Partners for Climate Protection Program in Ottawa, Canada; and at the IWA in the Cities of the Future Programme in The Hague, Netherlands.
