Lenn Lamkin (1971) works as a policy advisor Student Life and Mobility at the department of Student and Academic Affairs. Her key responsibility is to ensure and maintain a university wide housing programme for international students, staff and guests. Besides policy advise on the subject of student housing, contract and relation management, her activities include planning, preparation and delivery of the (bi-) annual housing cycle for international students and staff in cooperation with housing organisations and the university departments and faculties. She participates in national and local networks on student housing such as Landelijk Platform Studentenhuisvesting and the Convenant Studentenhuisvesting. She is also responsable for the assessment of applications for the use of lecture halls for non-educational activities (priority events). In addition to this, she participates in various programmes and projects concerning internationalisation and (student) services.

 

In September 2021 she joined the University Corporate Offices' Employee Consultative Body (Dienstraad UBD).


Lenn Lamkin obtained her master’s degree in humanities at Utrecht University and worked in the field of (international) retail services for over ten years until she joined the department of Student and Academic Affairs at Utrecht University in 2008.
