Liesbeth Kester (1970) is full professor Educational Sciences at Utrecht University. She is chair of the department Education. In the Interuniversity Centre for Educational Science (ICO), she's a board member. In 2007, she obtained a three-year, personal research grant of the Netherlands Organization of Scientific Research and she is a Fulbright alumnus. Her expertise focuses on the instructional design of e-learning, blended learning, game-based learning, multimedia learning, personalized learning and self-regulated learning.
