Lexin Chen is a PhD student in the Department of Interdisciplinary Social Sciences at Utrecht University and at the Interuniversity Center for Social Science Theory and Methodology (ICS). She obtained double bachelors at Zhejiang University, BA English literature, and University of Manchester, BA Linguistics & Sociology in 2021. Then she obtained a Research Master Social Sciences at University of Amsterdam in 2023. Lexin's research interests lie in Social network analysis, Statistical network modelling, Quantitative social science, and Computational social science. In her PhD project, she aims to apply dynamic network modeling to explore the identification of immigrants under the effects of social networks.
