Laura Boeschoten is involved in several projects that focus on developing research infrastructures for digital trace data collection. She was the project lead of the PDI-SSH funded “Project D3I” (Digital Data Donation Infrastructure) from 2022 to 2025, which is now a permanent service available for all researchers in the Netherlands. In addition, she is currently task lead in the NWO funded project SSHOC-NL. Here, she focuses on integrating the digital data donation infrastructure in the wider research infrastructure landscape in the Netherlands. From 2026 onwards, she extends this vision for an integrated infrastructure for various data harvesting tools in the NWO funded project Macroscope. Furthermore, her research focuses on the various methodological challenges that researchers encounter when conducting a data donation study and she tries to develop intuitive and easy data donation workflows for both researchers and participants. In addition, she supports the development of various research infrastructure projects by particularly focusing on scalability and sustainability.
