Research focus: well-being, positive psychology interventions, health psychology, goal setting and striving, culture, well-being and sustainability

 

Laura Weiss is a Assistant Professor at the Self-Regulation Lab. She specialized in positive psychology, and her research interest is how to improve the well-being of vulnerable groups. Her expertise also comprises self-determination theory and the design, evaluation and implementation of (positive psychology) interventions.

 

Laura Weiss is an Extraordinary Professor at Opentia Research Focus Area, North-West University, Vanderbijlpark, South Africa. She is the chairwoman of the supervisory board (Raad van Toezicht) of the foundation ‘Stichting Opdynpaad’.
