Lisan Henricks received her PhD in 2022 at the Behavioural Science Institute of the Radboud University in Nijmegen. Currently, Lisan is an assistant professor at the department of Clinical Child & Family studies.
Research
Her research focuses on better understanding the onset and development of social anxiety in adolescents. She investigates several risk factors of social anxiety, such as social status (popularity, likeability) and cognitive biases (attention and interpretation biases).
Teaching
Lisan teaches several courses in the bachelor's program in Pedagogical Sciences and the master's program Clinical Child, Family and Education Studies ('Orthopedagogiek') at Utrecht University. As of September 2022, Lisan Henricks is part of the educational committee of the bachelor Pedagogical Sciences.
