Karolina is a postdoctoral researcher in the ERC-funded project “The Enemy of the Good. Towards a Theory of Moral Progress” hosted by Utrecht University. Within the project, she primarily investigates the role of new and emerging technologies in sustaining and promoting moral and social change. Prior to joining Utrecht University, she completed a PhD in ethics and philosophy of technology at the University of Twente, where she investigated how ethical theory can improve the bioethical discourse on human and moral enhancement. Her broader research interests encompass normative ethics, bioethics, philosophy of technology, and moral psychology.
