Dr. Jamie Draper is an Assistant Professor in the Ethics Institute, Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies. His research is in political philosophy, mostly on applied issues in environmental, social, and global justice, including climate change, migration, and urban politics. His book, Climate Displacement, was recently published by Oxford University Press.

Before joining Utrecht, Jamie was a Postdoctoral Prize Research Fellow in Politics at Nuffield College, University of Oxford and, before that, a Teaching Fellow in Political Theory at the University of Warwick. He received his PhD from the University of Reading in 2020. Jamie is also an Associate Editor at Res Publica.
