Jan Martijn van der Werf is an associate professor at the Department of Information and Computer Science at Utrecht University. He is programme director of the Bachelor Information Sciences. His research focuses on modeling and analyzing behavioral aspects in software architectures for software products. Van der Werf received a dual PhD in computer science from Eindhoven University of Technology and the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, based on his thesis “Compositional Design and Verification of Component-based Information Systems”.
