Plant-Microbe Interactions

Plant roots play key role in plant health and fitness, considering the myriads of microbes living in close association with them in soil. For that, my research questions focus on understanding:

1. How roots perceive signals from the microbes inhabiting in the rhizosphere and what are the responses activated.

2. How products of these plant responses (eg exudates) can affect microbes in the rhizosphere.
