Hilde Lahaije is a PhD candidate in the field of state aid law, with a focus on (sustainable) energy transition. After finishing her BA in European Studies at the University of Amsterdam, ze obtained her LLM in European Law at Utrecht University in 2020.

Before starting her PhD, she worked as a legal policy officer at the NL Ministry of Finance.
