Eugenio received a BSc in Statistics from "La Sapienza" University in Rome and a MSc in Statistics from Bologna University. Prior to his PhD, he worked as a biostatistician on clinical and epidemiological studies at the Institute for Maternal and Child Health "Burlo Garofolo" in Trieste.

Eugenio's reseach interest is statistical methods for causal analysis and their application in environmental epidemiology and exposome. He is currently working on several projects involving the analysis of large cohorts to explore the association between environmental exposures and health effects using longitudinal data.
