Eline Punt is a member of the KRITIS Research Training Group and a PhD candidate at the Department of Human Geography and Spatial Planning at Utrecht University and the Institute of Sociology at the Technical University Darmstadt under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Jochen Monstadt and Prof. Dr. Sybille Frank. Previously, she obtained a research master and bachelor degree in urban and economic geography at Utrecht University. Her PhD project called 'Seaports as nested critical infrastructure systems: governing risks at the Port of Rotterdam' aims to understand how systemic risks are governed at the Port of Rotterdam from an institutional perspective. In particular she aims to understand how seaports can become more resilient against infrastructure failures.
