This year (2022/3) you will find me teaching The Writers' Lab and Creative Writing. I'm new to Utrecht, having taught previously on Masters programmes at the University of Brighton and Birkbeck, University of London. I'm a writer and librettist: my short fiction has been published in a number of anthologies and my opera collaborations have been performed in all sorts of places, from London's Royal Opera House to the pedestrian tunnels under the Elephant & Castle roundabout. I'm particularly interested in short stories, the London novel as a public space for women writers, the relationship bewteen text and music, historical novel-writing and, currently, narrative and nostalgia.
