Eline Hutter is a chemist with expertise in semiconductors and spectroscopy techniques, particularly in the field of optoelectronic properties of halide perovskites. She received her PhD cum laude (top 5%) from Delft University of Technology in 2018 and has since been involved in various research projects related to perovskite materials. Dr. Hutter's research has focused on understanding the properties and behaviors of lead halide perovskites, which are a class of semiconductors known for their applications in solar cells, LEDs, and X-ray detectors. She has worked on synthesizing non-toxic versions of these materials and investigating their stability under different conditions, such as high pressure.

Dr. Hutter has received recognition for her work, including being a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Stanford University in 2017, receiving a Veni research grant from the Dutch Research Council (NWO) in 2019, and being listed as one of the "women at the forefront of energy research" by ACS Energy Letters.
