Teaching
Dirk Gerritsen works at the Utrecht University School of Economics. He is the coordinator and lecturer of the courses International Investment Management (bachelor) and Investment Management (master). In addition, he played a large role in setting up the course Algorithms in Finance, a course which is offered together with Optiver for both finance students and students from the Science faculty. He also supervises various master theses each year.
Alongside his job at U.S.E. Dirk has worked at other higher education institutions. He worked for three months at the University of Victoria in 2020. In addition, he provided education at the following institutions: Erasmus University (2020), Radboud University (2011, 2013), Hult Business School (London, 2012), Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (Port Elizabeth, 2006, 2011, 2012), Stellenbosch University (2008), Kofi Annan Business School (2008).
