Dissertation in 1993: 'Sensitive responsiveness, a conceptual analysis.

1993-2004: Efficacy of  a program on developmental stimulation for low educated, immigrant parents on schoolachievement and schooltrajectories of Turkish and Moroccan pupils (projectleader, researcher)

2002-2008: PHD-project on parenting and coparenting and the associations with effortful control of young children (co-promotor)

2007-2008: Efficacy of Intensive Home support as alternative for residential treatment of youngster (trainer post-doc)

2008-heden: Research on the efficacy of Positive Behavior Support and research on of prevention of school drop out (see www.preventieindeketen.nl) (lector, projectleader).

2012- 2015: PHD project on efficacy of an intensive preschool (Startgroepen), in collaboration with the University of Twente and Oberon (co-promotor). Research on the influence of teachers' cultural beliefs on behavioral adjustment in Tanzanian preschools, in collaboration with the departement Developmental psychology Utrecht University (co-promotor).
