My research is focused on understanding the evolution of our Universe and answering the largest open questions regarding the innerworkings of Dark Matter and Dark Energy - components of the Universe we know little about. To do this, I use data from large galaxy surveys, primarily taking advantage of the phenomenon of gravitational lensing, the bending of light rays from interviening massive objects/structures. I also study the phenomenon of intrinsic alignments of galaxies, which is linked to the tidal gravitational field and plays a very important role in weak gravitational lensing measurements and in the evolution of galaxies.
