Arie van Nes is specialised in Swine Herd Health, (ECPHM) en epidemiology (ECVPH). At university, he teaches Swine Health, is doing research in swine, especially for pathogens that may jeopardise human health (MRSA, Cl. difficile). Furthermore, he leads together with Dr. Mieke Matthijs, the poultry health group. Furthermore, he is member of the exam committe bachelor, chairman of the board of specialisation in Pig health and member of the formularium committee for pigs.
