Assistant Professor in Bioinformatics at the Center of Molecular Medicine (CMM), University Medical Center Utrecht
Short Bio:
With a background in Biology, I studied Bioinformatics at University Paris 7, where I received my PhD in September 2007 for applying computer simulations to analyse the structural process of amyloid fibril formation.
After a first postdoc in the group of Prof. Alexandre Bonvin (computational structural biology) at Utrecht University, I did a second postdoc in the group of Prof. Wouter de Laat (Biomedical genomics) at the Hubrecht Institute. I returned to the Bonvin’s lab in 2016, combined with a lecturer position at the Utrecht Bioinformatics Center.
On the 1st of September 2018, I was appointed coordinator of the Bioinformatics focus area, where I serve as operational manager, lecturer, research support and policy advisor.
Since March 2019, I joined the University Medical Center Utrecht as Bioinformatics lecturer for the Center of Molecular Medicine (CMM). I have been appointed Assistant Professor on February 2020.
