Bram Vroege is a PhD candidate at the Utrecht University School of Law. He is connected as a researcher to the Public Procurement Research Centre (PPRC).

 

His PhD research is on EU procurement law in the defence and security sector. Within this context, his research is focused on the balance between developing a European internal markt for defence material on the one hand, and safeguarding individual EU member states' national security interests on the other.

 

In 2015, Bram completed the Legal Research Master of the UU. Since then he has mainly worked in the fields of competition law and sector-specific regulation. Next to his PhD research, Bram works as a senior transport- and telecoms regulation lawyer at the Directorate Telecommunications, Transport and Post of the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM).
