I am a Marie Sklodowska-Curie fellow since 2021 in the Geosciences department.
My research focuses on identifying how ecosystems respond to the ongoing global changes. In particular, I investigate and develop tools to help us identify when and where abrupt shift may occur in nature. My current project at UU focuses on identifying how the coral reefs of Rapa Nui (Easter Island) may respond to future changes, in collaboration with our partners at Universidad Católica de Chile. I am regularly in Chile to carry out this collaboration.
While my current research focuses on coral reefs, my research interests have led me to work on wide variety of ecosystems, ranging from alpine meadows to mediterranean grasslands or subalpine pastures - follow the links below for more information, and don't hesitate to contact me, should you want to collaborate on any scientific topic!
