I am a neuropsychologist working on sensory processing for perception and the guidance of action. After completing my PhD in London and Oxford on sensorimotor consequences of hemispherectomy, I worked at Frenchay Hospital in Bristol and at St. Andrews University, before moving to Utrecht University in 2000.
 My research is currently focused on:

• Somatosensory function (touch, itch and pain),
• Body representations
• Peripersonal space
