Dr. Yilong Xu

Yilong Xu is an Assistant Professor of Finance (with tenure) at the Utrecht School of Economics, Utrecht University.
Before joining Utrecht, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Heidelberg University (Chair of Behavioral Finance) in Germany.
He obtained his Ph.D. in Economics at Tilburg University, the Netherlands. He also obtained his M.Sc. in Economics, M.Sc. in Quantitative Finance and Actuarial Science, as well as B.Sc. in Economics at Tilburg University.
His research interests lie primarily in the area of Behavioral and Experimental Finance, Wealth and Ethics, and Fundamental Aspects of (Financial) Decision-making.
