Joyce Pang is a PhD candidate at the Department of Sociology as part of the research programme "Sustainable Cooperation: Roadmaps to a Resilient Society" (SCOOP) and Interuniversity Center for Social Science Theory and Methodology (ICS). She obtained her BSc degree in social psychology with merit from the University of Amsterdam, followed by the completion of a Research Master’s in social and organisational psychology with cum laude. Her PhD project examines whether and to what extent the problem of overconsumption in The Netherlands can be resolved by interventions that are focused on changing social norms around consumption to more sustainable ones.
