During my PhD study, I was focusing on the organic management (such as organic fertilizer and bio-organic fertilizer) in regulating soil microbiome (including bacteria, fungi and protist) to control soil borne disease. I was mainly focusing on the high sequencing data analysis of soil bacteria, fungi and protist and their interactions in relation with plant health.

Since 1st of June, 2018, I started my Postdoc project (Application of protozoa as next generation biofertilizer in sustainable agriculture) supervised by Dr. Alexandre Jousset and in cooperation with Dr. Stefan Geisen from NIOO. I will collect different datasets to uncover the protist-bacteria interactions via functional genes, and combine the interaction experiment between protist and bacteria isolations.

Since December of 2020, I started work at Nanjing Agricultural University, China (Soil Microbiome and Organic Fertilizer Group, headed by Prof. Qirong Shen).
