Onderzoeks interesses: Biostratigrafie, biochronologie, biogeografie en evolutie. Vooral op het gebied van Oligocene en Miocene kleine zoogdier associaties van Azië (Pakistan en Mongolie), Turkije, Georgie, Griekenland,Servie, Croatie, Bosnia-Herzegovina en Libië.

Veldwerken in terrestrische bekkens van (o.a.) Bosnia-Herzegovina, Griekenland, Georgië, Kroatië,  Libië, Mongolië, Servië,  Spanje en Turkije.
