I am a tenured assistant professor at Intelligent Systems Lab, the Department of Information & Computing Sciences of Utrecht University.
My primary interest balances theoretical development and practical application, with an emphasis on developing efficient, scalable and reliable artificial intelligence approaches to solve real-world data-driven problems. I aim to develop human-centred & intelligent systems. My technical interest concentrates on Single-agent and Multi-agent Reinforcement Learning (MARL) and their practical usage in sequential decision-making tasks. In particular, I am interested in analyzing and modelling three kinds of complex interactions from big empirical data, and integrating them into learning:
