Gastric carcinoma in the Belgian Shepherd

Funding: Nederlands Kankerfonds voor Dieren (NKFvD) & Nederlandse Vereniging voor Belgische Herdershonden (NVBH)  

1. Descriptive study of clinical and pathological findings in Tervueren and Groenendael Belgian shepherds with gastric carcinoma.

2. Heritability and survival analysis of Belgian Shepherds with gastric carcinoma.

3. GWAS in 48 dogs suffering from GC and 48 controls

Material: Over 70 cases with GC and over 100 controls (dogs older than 13 years of age) have been identified.
