I am a senior researcher in theoretical and computational mineral physics with a particular interest in the microstructures, thermodynamic properties and mechanical behavior of Earth materials.

My research activities focus on atomic-scale first-principles modelling based on the fundamental grounds of quantum mechanics, on lattice dynamics and molecular dynamics simulations. Using these techniques, I investigate how microphysical and kinetic processes of rock-forming minerals govern the dynamics of the Earth and planetary interiors.
