R. (Romin) Pajouheshnia

Romin Pajouheshnia is an assistant professor at the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology and Clinical Pharmacology at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Utrecht University. Romin manages the Centre for Pharmacoepidemiology within his division, and is involved in studies investigating the safety, effectiveness and utilization of medicines using multiple sources of routinely collected electronic health data. His research interests focus on how heteroegeneity between sources of European health data should be accounted for in multi-database pharmacoepidemiologic studies.

Romin is currently coordinator of the FA-CPS101 bachelor course on Epidemiology and Clinical Drug Development. From September 2021, he coordinates the Honours Programme for Pharmaceutical Sciences at UU.
