Grants, Fellowships and Awards related to teaching

March 2024: EMP-grant for educational advice and to work on the project of reflection, portfolio and career professionalization at Liberal Arts and Sciences, together with Annemarie Horn. 

May 2023: Comenius Teaching Fellow grant: 50.000 euro funding to implement a teaching innovation, in this case on my project entitled: Facilitate connective thinking during the interdisciplinary curriculum, see: Previously granted Comenius projects | NRO for a description of the project.

May 2021: EMP-grant for educational advice and to work on the project inclusive assessment in the Liberal Arts and Sciences core curriculum. With Merel van Goch. 

March 2020: Scholarship of Teaching and Learning grant: funding to examine own teaching approach. 4500 euros awarded for the following project: Tools to facilitate collaboration in undergraduate interdisciplinary student teams

February 2020: Department of Philosophy and Religious studies Talent Money – 3000 euros awarded (with Merel van Goch) to organize a writing workshop to contribute to the textbook on interdisciplinary research: the interdisciplinary research cycle. 

2018: Julie Johnson Kidd Travel Research Fellowship (European Consortium of Liberal Arts and Sciences)

1500 euros awarded to travel to Denmark with 2 students for the evaluation of using the Conavigator collaboration tool to support undergraduate interdisciplinary research in teams. https://www.ecolas.eu/eng/?page_id=268
