I am the (co-)program leader of the UU-Liberal Arts and Sciences program, coordinating the LAS-teacher team and collaborating with study advisors and teachers/program coordinators from other departments and faculties. I also coordinate and teach courses in the core modules of this program, where students learn to do interdisciplinary research in teams. Next to LAS I am also active in other departments and faculties: I am involved in the Master’s programme Medical Humanities, where I coordinate the Interdisciplinary Research course. I am a facilitator of the Interdisciplinary Teaching Training Programme at the Centre for Academic Expertise and a teacher of the humanities University Teaching Qualification Trajectory (BKO-leergang). Finally, I am involved in the professionalization of teachers as one of two humanities SoTL advocates for the University wide USO: ‘get started and keep going with SoTL!’ and as an advisor in the Humanities Task force on the responsible use of Generative AI.
