Thao Kieu is a PhD candidate in Developmental Psychology. She is a part of the Life-Event Longitudinal Description and Explanation Research (ELDER) project, in which she investigates how individuals cope with negative life events and what factors contribute to successful coping. She also looks at the effects of negative life events on psychological functioning in different cultural contexts. 

Thao completed her research master Development and Socialisation in Childhood and Adolescence at Utrecht University in 2023.
