Olaf is a PhD student at Utrecht University at the RADIUNCE project, where he investigates how politicians respond to and express uncertainty (using text data). His other expertises include political polarisation and populism; he has published on the former. Before starting his PhD, Olaf taught at the Bachelor of Political Science at Leiden University. He received his Bachelor in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Minerva University and his Master in Political Science from Central European University.
