Martina Bubalo is a PhD candidate at the Department of Human Geography and Spatial Planning, Utrecht University, under the supervision of dr. S.M. Labib, dr. Karlijn van den Broek and dr. Marco Helbich. She holds a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Zagreb and a Master’s degree in Environment and Resource Management from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. She has a research background in landscape perception. In her current research she will investigate the connection between nature contact, mental health and pro-environmental behaviours among urban youth.
