Johanna S. W. Kruger, MSc is a PhD candidate in Social and Organizational Psychology, within the GRID (Groups and Identity) Lab group of prof. dr. Belle Derks. Her research investigates the role of occupational stereotypes in medical specialties in order to better understand the processes underlying gender segregation in medical specialties in the Netherlands and develop intervention strategies for a more inclusive employment sector. Johanna is part of the SCOOP (Sustainable Cooperation) program, which aims to pursue the interdisciplinary study of sustainable cooperation as a key feature of resilient societies.
She also received her MSc in Social and Health Psychology at Utrecht University and her MSc thesis focused on gender and work-family guilt.
